"Dear Thore! I hope you are having a great Christmas. I have been thinking about what you do for the Children in Africa and that has inspired me very much. I live in Polan, but I work for a norwegian employer, I have a good job and a good salary. We just came back from visiting an orphanage for disabled children here in Poland. We have collected funds and with these funds we were able to help them by giving them gifts and also money to fix some leak on the roof and even a new heating system for the orphanage. Today we have also been to the shops and bought a lot of food. We will hand out this food to homeless people tomorrow. My gift for everyone in my family this year is that I am donating in their names. Thank you for the inspiration you have given me. I wanted to write you this email, so that you know that you are an inspiration to others in making the world a better place. I wish you and all around you a fantastic christmas."
